Grounds for Joy: "Light Is Sown Like Seed for the Righteous" Psalm 97:1

When snows blanket June
And fat vultures grin
When rainbows seem myths
And hell heaven’s kin
When clouds feign mercy
But rain only fire
When hope’s a phantom
Delusion its sire—
Cocooned within earth
Grow kernels of light
Solar seeds sunk ‘neath
The harrowing night,
To pierce shadowed earth
With uplifted blades
That brandish dawn’s hope
And sever death’s shade.
